Ingredients
  

  • 2 green tomatoes sliced medium and evenly
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 –3 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Traces of Flavor Fish Fry for coating
  • Oil for frying
Spicy Aioli Dip
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce adjust to heat preference
  • ½ tsp T.O.F Original seasoning

Method
 

  1. Slice tomatoes evenly into medium slices. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Season tomato slices lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning to create an egg wash.
  4. Dip each tomato slice into the egg wash, then coat in Traces of Flavor Fish Fry. Shake off excess.
  5. Let coated tomatoes sit for 5–10 minutes (this helps the batter stick).
  6. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry tomatoes until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with aioli.
Instructions for Dip
  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, and T.O.F Original seasoning.
  2. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Chill for 10 minutes before serving for best flavor.
