Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon

Method
 

  1. In a medium pot, melt 2 sticks of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, honey, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger, salt, and cinnamon to the melted butter. Stir until fully combined and the mixture turns silky and aromatic.
  3. Pour or spread the mixture evenly over your sweet potatoes.
  4. Cover and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 30 minutes, or until fork tender and bubbling.
  5. Remove from oven, uncover, and let cool slightly before serving warm.
